Porcelain veneers are a beautiful way to correct stained, chipped, crooked, or spaces in teeth. By placing glass-like ceramic porcelain on the surface of teeth, Dr. Steinberg can provide you with the smile you always wanted.
Porcelain veneers are thin wafers of porcelain, about half a millimeter thick (the thickness of a fingernail) that are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautifully natural smile. Porcelain mimics tooth structure better than any other restorative material.

Smile design often uses porcelain veneers to correct the teeth.  But correcting the teeth without evaluating and addressing the rest of the smile and facial esthetics may end with a result of nice teeth with a not so nice smile.  See smile design for more details.

Porcelain veneers can be a significant investment.  We take plenty of time in the consultation and diagnosis phase to assure that both doctor and patient are communicating well.  Computer imaging and diagnostic model previews allow a patient to see the results before the cosmetic transformation begins.

Composite Resin Direct Bonding can be the ideal way to correct small problems with your smile, minor decay, discoloration, or chips.  It’s a perfect solution for teeth that are healthy and stable, but don’t look quite the way you want them to. Because composite resin looks so much like your natural teeth, you’ll get an aesthetically pleasing look from a simple procedure.

The photo on the left shows a patient with 20 year old composite bonding. On the right, the same patient chose to replace her bonding with porcelain veneers.
